In celebration of the summer selection from the Flexi-carer fund (now it’s nearly Christmas but we have been busy!).
Sometimes living with care needs can consume daily living for the whole family. We believe that doing the different and making time for everyone helps for living a fulfilling life, and we aim to support our users to do so. That is why over the summer we have put the Flexi-carer fund to good use by supporting Crossroads families in getting out of the house and enjoying the sunshine.
At the Cotswold Wildlife Park, we created lasting memories for everyone, meeting all those lovely animals and enjoying a trip to the café together for cake. Other youngsters were lucky to enjoy a fun day at Thomley Hall with all its sensory fun.
If you use our services and would like to come on our next group outing please let your care manager or Lizzy know, you can even suggest where it should be.
