Handyman (Oxfordshire):
We have a friendly, security-checked handyman who can help with light gardening and everyday DIY tasks, such as putting up a shelf, changing a lightbulb or mending a fence. This service is reasonably charged and is very popular. If you have a job need doing, feel free to call our Oxford office and ask for a quote.
The Vincent Project (Oxfordshire)
Founded in memory of a Crossroads Care service user, the project seeks to open the arts to people with care needs and those who assist them. The Vincent Project has links to theatres, galleries, music and art spaces in both Oxford and London and often gets free or reduced-priced tickets for events and shows, including backstage tours. The Swift Service (Windsor and Maidenhead)
The Swift Service is an overnight service for unpaid carers who are kept awake or have broken sleep due to their caring role. Crossroads Care will provide a care support worker who will come in and stay overnight, with an option of them staying on until 2pm the next day. This gives carers the chance to go away overnight or to have a good night’s sleep at home. Call our office in Windsor on: 07833 449 031.
Lifestyle Support
We have a dedicated team who are ready to give you a helping hand with a variety of tasks to help make life easier for you and the loved one you care for at home. From helping you to do something you enjoy doing like a club or hobby, to cleaning, dog walking, or mowing the lawn. You may just like to have some companionship for you or the family member you care for. The services we give can include help with care such as personal care (e.g. help with washing) or giving medication. We charge a competitive hourly rate.
