We are recruiting a Care Manager to work within our adult care management team.

We are looking for an energetic and caring individual who wants to make a difference to people’s lives. If you want to support staff to enjoy their work in order to ensure older people and others with care needs live full and happy lives then this may be the role for you.  

Tasks include supporting care staff and co-ordinating care worker schedules, assessing clients’ care needs and making sure needs are met. You will have the support of  the care staff training team.

The care we provide can include helping with any specialist medical needs, or providing support and companionship to people with long term conditions. 

You would be based in our Oxford office in Marston, although some working based in Newbury office could be possible.
 
A full Enhanced DBS check is required. Own transport essential. 
 

Crossroads Care is a registered charity with a long history of providing quality care services for children and adults in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.

We provide fully paid training which will include a Safeguarding Course and any specialist courses to fully equip you with the knowledge and skills to care for our clients.

The role:

 
  • Assessing the needs of new customers
  • Creating person centred care plans
  • Arranging rotas for care workers
  • Ensuring all care staff are appropriately trained for the individual tasks required including medication and specialist care tasks
  • Arranging staff training with the specialist nurse trainers
  • Checking on the welfare of the customer
  • Arranging outings and activities for young carers
  • Staff supervisions and appraisals
