Children's Care Worker

Would you like to help children with care needs live rich and fulfilling lives? If you are kind, caring and empathetic to children’s needs this could be the role for you. 

We are looking for staff to fit in with families to support parents and others enable children with care needs to live life to the full. This could mean supporting them to go to the park, or support their learning by being with them at school. We sometimes assist children to have fun by accessing activities like swimming or soft play. There are also days of staying at home and giving support to the family by taking care of cooking and cleaning or personal care and mealtimes. 

Some of the children we support have specialist needs and we can train you to deliver this kind of care too. 

The role is very rewarding and you will be helping to make a difference to the life of the child and their family.

Of course if you have experience caring for children with complex needs that is invaluable (come join us), but we also place great value on the caring and sensitive skills that cannot really be taught.  If you are keen to learn the role and genuinely like children, we can provide fully paid training to fully equip you with the knowledge and skills to care for children with care needs.
