Following a move from North to south in 1989 Mary felt ready for new pastures and she started to work in a hospital environment as a care assistant. She then went to college in Oxford to study social work/care management before joining Crossroads Care.

As well as personal care (in accordance with care plans) Mary administers medication and supports meal preparation and household tasks. She also spends time going shopping with her clients, speaks with GP’s and other networks to provide a safe environment and supports clients in meeting up with friends.
